It's a 2002 Chevy IRL engine detuned for the street! Sounds pretty tricky to me. I can only imagine what they cost but still, very cool. You would think they were purchased for a song since they were obsolete but that doesn't stop them from charging whatever the market will bear. 560 hp and it only weighs 340lbs. Wow. Give Falconer a call and they'll hook you up. http://www.falconerengines.com/prod05.htm
From: Graceland in a Not Correctly Restored Stingray
Needless to say Falconer knows his stuff. A Lola I once had the fotune to own had a Falconer built SB in it. Remembering the sound of it at 9000 rpm still gives me chills and makes my palms sweat...
btw... one of Falconer's Chevy V12's ended up in a Corvette a few years ago.
I agree that the V-12 is pretty cool. 1000+hp is always cool. I see that Brammo is building some kind of supercar with it. Also, the Thunder Mustang has a high coolness factor. I guess Mr. Falconer gets to do some pretty cool things.
