C5 Speedline Wheels: Offset?
Does anyone know what the offset is for the OEM C5 Speedline wheels in 18x10.5 configuration? Did GM use different offsets for other 18x10.5 wheels?

if nobody has it handy, I can measure mine for you. What other GM wheels are you referring to, as they didn't use 18x10.5's for any other models that I know of (unless you are referreing to the Alcoa Z06 rims).
I had assumed the Also and Speedlines are the same, and we've established that both will fit a C6Z06 brakes, but I can't tell if they are absolutely the same down to the last mm.

OK, just ran down and checked for SPEEDLINE 18x10.5. Without dismounting my tires, this is as close as I can measure.

Centerline backspacing, 51mm

Thanks for taking the time to measure. It's possible that the Alcoa wheels have a different offset.
Bob at House of Wheels tells me that the Speedlines that they sell are 57mm offset. However, others on this Forum have posted 62mm. The SSR wheels that some forum members are using are supposed to be C5Z wheels in 18x10.5 and they have a 62mm offset.
I'm still not sure if these wheels will work on a C6 Z51 without rubbing issues. John at CCW tells me that if they are 62mm, they won't work and that they will rub on the control arms.
