Need Michelin Cups advice
Running Cups at Sebring this weekend f/ first time was on stockers previously running in 2:40's. what pressures would be best on a 2006 z06 essentially stock suspension/engine? have stk calipers w/ hawk dtc 70 frt & rear (have 6 mm left and have run 4 chin events--3 hrs seat time ea event). running 345/30/18 on 18x13 rear ccw corsairs, and 295 30 fronts on 18x11 frts. Tires have not been heat cycled but I'll be driving 170 miles to Sebring on them---they have new calibrated sensors (went all out--I think).

I ran mine at 33-35 hot (I think!). Start at 30 with your sensors displayed and when they get start to feel greasy note it mentally and as soon as you come in, bleed down the pressure to 2 psi less than that. After a couple of sessions, you can get it really close. I really think the sensors are a great idea and properly used, become a great tuning tool at the track. I have them in all 3 sets of my wheels.

I'm going to the track in 3 weeks. Can't wait to see how she runs.
Oil temps ran 285 last time. Lost P/S a couple of times.

went to sebring in June was 100 degrees! drove 5 seesions 35-45 min each. engine temp up to 240, oil--255 deg! not bad lots of long straights to help cooling. No tranny temp lights. The new z has very good cooling. It may be hotter this time!
