Hopefully all will make the Feb 22 event (unless the date is changed) and we can see how close the two c4's are in speed for the whole course. My guess is the straight line speed department the 383 will pull several lengths on me between T8 and T1.

BTW: no question Keith is quicker on the rest of the course... heck.. this was my first event.. I was watching him during his runs.. looked good! especially in T5

I'll be heading back jan 20th-21st for the PCA event at roebling.. anyone else gonna hit that one?

The PS pump is still erratic, need to order one.
It was actually T4 that was my problem! Good luck at the PCA event. About 6 months to go for your adventure!

You should be able to get some decent speed with that 383- I have an LT1 383 in my camaro, and I can hit over 150 mph on the front straight- ran a 1:20.8 at the last TT event.

Have fun with the Porsche, it should be pretty easy to drive with the AWD. A friend of mine had an AWD model and drove it for a couple of years with no problems, and good track times. Then he upgraded to a 2wd GT3 (I believe) and he was spinning out all over the place!

I know this is a little late but if you are still interested I just received finale results for that event. The fastest NCCC Group I C4 was Geoffrey Gott who had a best run of 1:22.683. Not sure what year his C4He runs in group 1E which means he was running a stock L98 C4 on race tires.

There was only one other C4 in Group I and he was runing in the 1:34.xx range.
