C4 adjustable front spring

Gary @ Hardbar and I have been working to develop a kit that will allow C4 owners to retrofit their existing springs to be independantly adjustable on both sides, like the C5/C6 springs.
Our initial test went very well and was done with a FE1 base suspension spring. I also have a Z51 front spring that I will be doing this to and hopefully testing in early April (damn snow here in the NE!).
This kit would allow you to make any C4 spring adjustable for a mere fraction of the price. Also, we believe the adjustment bolt from this kit can be brought forward to the C5s & C6s and be superior to the stock design.
We will keep you posted (sorry for the hijack).

Before we only had the replacement spring (similar to stock) with a rate range of 300 to 340#/inch, the Sport Spring with a small arch style and a rate range of 450-550#/inch and our Extreme which is a flat design (no arch) and a rate range of 1000-1250#/inch. What we did was add two more to the line which are our new Sport Plus and Sport Plus Adjustable.
The Sport Plus has a spring rate range of 650 to 750#/inch. This is suitable for the track and also can be used for the street too which is why it is popular. Is has a little bit of an arch to it, but a higher rate than our original Sport. This can be used in stock classes or where the adjustors are not allowed. It gives more, but not as much as the Extreme and without the adjustors.
If adjustors are allowed, our Sport Plus Adjustable has the same adjustors as our Extreme and the spring has a little bit of an arch (it is not flat like the Extreme) and the rate range is 575-900#/inch, a little softer than the Extreme at 1000-1250#/inch and can still be street driven.
Depending on what shocks you add in the mix, will depend on how much flexibility you will have between track and street performance.
Some of my customers are adding some adjustable shocks to these new springs to dual purpose the Vette with much success.
If you would like to discuss our springs, please email me directly at pattie@vbandp.com or call me toll free at 1-800-237-9991.
All of our springs, along with some other items, are on sale during the month of February too. It is the month to show your Vette some love

Doesn't matter about the NCCC rule.........Can still use the same rate spring with no ride hieght adjusters, and still have ride hieght adjustment.....
The thing that created that rule is called a "witch-hunt", I understand from my sources....
