Default Somebody's not an AutoX fan...

...actually seems like it was written by an AutoXer who's clearly been to Nationals (or at least reads up on the results and happenings) but has a twisted sense of humor about the whole thing:

Thanks for the link.

Reading through the class descriptions gives a sense of the level at
which the author might have participated. It seems a safe bet that
it wasn't in a Corvette, BMW, Porsche or 350Z ...

Cole Stock: See 'Internet Protest Committee Discussion Forum'.
That line alone makes the article for me.

Intimately involved in autocross, solo, etc, or at least used to be.

Great writer.

Great sense of humor.

Pretty funny stuff

quote: The SCCA has ladies classes for autocross which share the same rules as the open classes but limit participation to women and transvestites

too funny! go SCCA!

quote: There are usually classes for obsolete race cars left over from other series but most autocross cars are based on ****ty production cars. Except for the Corvette Z06. The Corvette Z06 was handcrafted by the almighty himself out of angel crap, and can never be beaten. Period.

So True!

Formula Junior A, Formula Junior B and Formula Junior C

Formula Junior exists mainly for the purpose of making autocross days longer. Anyone who thinks about an Internal Combustion Engine while Junior Karts are running is subject to immediate execution.

I am not an Auto-X fan...I went to one Auto-X....that was enough.

It was the largest group of dysfunctional people I have met in my life and that included walking past the drug rehab place next to the casino in upper Michigan.

I'm only a quarter way through it and the whoever wrote this is hilarious.

I remember checking in Auto-X and met someone who did SCCA Rally....Rally! Wow cool...not that I have a car for it but where in the world do they do that around Michigan.

Then he explained to me what SCCA Rally was...I should have left then.
