One small step for cone-dodger... I'm official!
It's official as of today! I am now a Nationally Licensed SCCA racer!
Some of you may know the original plan for this year was to get my license and make it all the way to the Runoffs. A blown up motor at VIR, however, made that a financial impossibility for us - but we are on-track to make the Runoffs next year.
I'm very excited to have the opportunity to come race with some of the well-known guys here and find out (again) how much fun I can have eating humble pie.
I don't think we're going to be able to make any National races this year, but next year we'll be there giving 'em hell!
Looking forward to meeting more of you out at the track. Our first race now that we're SCCA National legal will be with NASA at RA in 3 weeks.

Hey Mikah, good job on the National Lic. I'm two races short. Hope to pick one up this weekend at Road Atlanta. Bob and I will be there for a single SARRC race.
We will also be at Rod Atlanta for the NASA event.
Wish you could make the end of Sept. SAARC Invitational Challenge (SIC) at Roebling. I believe you lead in T1 and should pick up the trophy. Winners get a paid invitation to the Awards in Jan. held at Jekyll Island.
See you in Aug. at RA.

Congrats Mikah !
I feel your pain. I lost my motor at sebring a couple weeks ago.
This however just made me speed up my spec miata project which we will run at the 3 hr enduro on fri and both sat and sun races.
This should be a great weekend as team Bdr will run 3 cars in the race along with the usual record setting tt boys.
Mikah, I will look for you in the pits as I would like to say hi.
Jeff, I look forward to seeing you and Jake and the rest of your crew.
And for those of you staying at the track, lookout because we are going to tear it up with the spec e 30 boys as usual.
See you at the track!!
Go go sparkle pony!!!

Mikah,
Good job on the Nat Comp! I fully understand what you are going through to get where you want to be. For me in 2006 it was a quest to get my Regionals over with before an early National, Summit Point my home track. It was tough, especially when a missed shift at MMP cost me my torque tube, and 3 races later my transmission. Trial by bank account is more what it was! I made it though, got to the Runoffs and had a heck of a time. Sorry to see you not go, next year we'll both be there, hopefully!!
