What are these tire sizes?
They are Michelin's, what sizes are they in a way I would understand them?
24/64/18
27/68/18
27/65/18
31/71/18
Thanks!

I think...
24=245mm wide
64=640mmtall
18=18"
24/64/18 = 245/35/18 more or less, the aspect ratio can be a bit tricky to convert.
It's actually easier this way, as you get a direct tire Diameter (64 in this case) instead of a ratio you have to calculate yourself.

PS Look at Tire rack for sizes of your current tire. For a compare or two.

thank David and Randy!
So the 27/65/18 may be 275/35/18?
I am getting several tires free, so no dealer to chat with.

I represent the Michelin Pilot Racing slicks and I'd be happy to discuss the sizes and recommended wheels for each size. They aren't like regular tires. You need a lot more wheel and there is some mounting info you need too.

275/650 would be a 275/35
275/680 would be almost 275/40
I run all kinds of used "scrubs", anything I can get cheap/free. As long as the front tire isn't TALLER than the rear, I'll run it on a C5/C6!
Hey Mike, got any scrubs?????

All you have to do is convince all of the Pro racing series' that 19" are better for performance (good luck), and then there will be tons of scrubs. Things moved fast from 15"-16"-17"-18".....then stopped. I think the overall diameter for most race cars has limited the diameter that wheels can go in mass scale.
Of course, there aren't as many large 18" as there used to be, but if you have a Porsche/BMW, there are tons of good used slicks on the market, they just max out around 280-300mm
