Default Just wired my helmet

Just installed the wiring into my helmet for my new track radio system which is now in the car.

Replaced the ear plugs with speakers now mounted inside the helmet along with the mouth piece.
Just have to put the helmet on now and am set.

Going to use it at our events to keep in touch with our event manager Nick as well as Danny to call out cars for black flag drills etc. while out with em. Danny has the same set up and hopefully it will add to how we run the events.

Going to try it out at VIR in 2 weeks.

I'll be interested to hear how you like the speakers vs. ear buds. My ear buds don't fit well and are just another step that I'd love to eliminate when getting in/out of the car!

Mikah,
Not on the track but tried it out today.
it works GREAT !!!!!!!!!

Very clear and all I have to do is put the helmet on. Everything is already in place.
I only have to make one wire connection which is extremely easy.
I have the wiring harness attached to my rt. shoulder harness strap and the wire out of the helmet on the rt. side. Very very easy to hook up.
Now really looking forward to trying it at VIR

Right on - thanks for the update! I think that may well be the way to go. My upgrade budget probably won't include a helmet until late 2009, but I think when I do I'm going to go the route you did. Just seems cleaner and easier - and sounds like it works well too. I may hit you up for some tips when I go to do mine.
