Brian
I'll PM you with something you might find interesting when used with those spindle drawings from earlier.

That's nice if you have a 'real race car' and can bring the hose in the nose and around the frame and suspension from the back. I don't think 4" hose will come close to comming from the air dam and across the front of the lower A arm with the wheel at full lock in an autocross or street car.

What size wheels? My stock 17x9.5" and these C5 at 18x9.5" with 285/40s clear OK. I think I put a little oval in the hose at one point.

I run 17x10.5 for the street and 17x11 for the track. I also have a 3" hose instead of 2.5" I dont really see a way for this to work without cutting holes in the inner fender to run the hose. As of now I just cut it shorter so it is closer to the mount for the LCA instead of being up by the rotor. It should still be effective until I can figure out a better way. Also, the car is on jackstands. Ill see if it gets better when the car is on the ground but Im not sure it will.

FWIW with the inner fenders installed and 17 X 9.5's, I was never able to get 3" dia hose to work. I am using 2.5" and it was still rubbing at full lock. I am using wire enforced silicone hose and it does not lend itself to forming as well as non reinforced plastic hose into an oval shape.

I've actually thought about a 'tube' large enough to encase both a-arms, and then feeding it from hole behind the shock. That way everything stays cool

Try going over the top then like my bottom picture in the set. It looks like the hood prop rod might be in the way just a little though.

We have inlets designed specifically for the C4 lower air dam:

The page with more info on the inlets can be found here:

http://www.quantummotorsports.com/c4inlets.htm

We also just recently introduced C4 spindle ducts on the forum. The post is here:

Give us a call. We can work out something on a complete system.

Thanks. It's actually being used as a power steering cooler. You know how the C4s love to boil the PS fluid.
