Bonus check coming this month and looking to do bushings. LG monoball most likely, but would be interested to see details and cost of the hardbar kit.

Just installed the VBP kit on my new to me '01 C5Z. I drilled the control arms for zerk fittings and drilled the bushings longitudinally so that grease would be forced into the center of the bushing around the pivot, and that grease would be forced out the end to lubricate between the end of the bushing and the washer, or the cradle, (depending on location).
I suspect that the ends of the bushings are where most of the squeaking develops, as that area is most susceptible to losing grease.
It has only been a few hundred miles so far, but almost all of them have been in the rain, and no squeaking yet. At the time of install, all of the arms articulated freely with very little friction. I used Bel-Ray marine waterproof grease. My plan is to lube these at oil changes.
