switching the fronts to the rear isn't a good option...

leaving the rears as is will be okay as the bias is so far forward. that and we really don't get a whole lot of heat in the rears as to need a rear kit. The rear rotors will help alone..

if you can run 2 pc rotors on the back and dump the e-brake, the ebrake is 5+ lbs of unsprung weight alone. and a few more for an alum rotor hat...

and no matter how much you pull the linings in, I swear the stupid things still drag based on the blueing you get on the rotor "drum" surface you can assure zero drag if you just toss 'em

Will have to check the TCS when published this month but am sure it will be 18x10...........
Yes it says 18x10" but i'm thinking that is worthless and expensive. WE could run stock rear wheels 18x10.5" for the price on just 1 CCW. I don't see why the CRB would not allow stock wheels.

I wonder if we could run new 18" ccws on front with the big calipers and then new bigger calipers rear and the old rear 17x11 ccws and have clearance so we only had to buy front wheels. Rolling diameters would still be about the same. We could convert with new lips the old front CCWs to 17 by 11's and use them on rear so it is not a total waste?

Easy way to tell is ask which pads they use... 7416 == 16mm == narrow. 7420 == 20mm == regular.

Do you guys run 315's on the 17x10 front CCW's too?

Maybe we can get a group buy on the sl6. It seems like many are thinking this way due to cost. However, some say the sl6 is not much of an upgrade except for caliper longevity. maybe that's why scca did not give it the 50lb penalty that all other aftermarket calipers get when run with an 18" front wheel?
i think its more for pad longevity... the pads are thicker

Any news on Group buys or who has the best deal yet? Sounds like we need to opt for the Thermolock pistons as well in this kit.

Any T1 C5 guys got em yet or what you gonna do? Rules are still a little confusing or is it just me? Are we allowed to run a 2 piece REAR rotor in stock dimensions, I did see we can loose the WHOLE P-Brake assembly too.

Headers, what are you doing and what brand. Should we get a group buy going on that too.

If you don't want to post here and want to chat by PM, then hit me up!

Default SL6R Parts List under $1000 Complete

Here's what I used:

Wilwood 120-6143-RS and 120-6144-RS $600/pr
These are the fullsize, with Thermolock stainless pistons, trailing mount
They use the 7420 pads 20.4mm thick, I use Cobalt Friction CBR.XR2.RC7/20mm.
XR3's also work well if you want a little less intial bite.

LG Brackets $349/pr

1/8 NPT male - 3AN male steel adapter from Pegasus $3.50/pr

This turned into 'asking $1500' with a new set of GT rotors thrown in......not sure if they are still available.......
