I know the supercharger can get hot? What brand and how many pounds of boost with a stock bottom end.
Thanks

I do but not in a Corvette and unless your willing to spend the dollars to do it right (built motor/tune/cooling issues addressed), please don't do it. Big HP naturally asiprated is much more reliable and worthwhile for the track.
It can be done but not without spending some $$ beyond just the forced induction addition.

I primarily do off track and straight track events/
like has been said make sure you address the cooling
it can be done and the good part is you can granny the car around town and still take it to the track----use all the pedal then

I have tracked both superchargers and turbo vettes, and now engine only LS7 engine track cars. You cannot keep any FI cool enough on a road race track. Spend your money on a purpose built LS7 engine with a 2 inch journal Callie Crank as the bottom foundation, 11:5 1 Compression, the FAST 102 Intake, ported throttle b and finish with all the ARE Oil mods(ARE Tank and Pan) and the DeWitt Dual Fan Radiator. Get 550 to the rear with RPM 390 Quiafe Gears, a RPS BC2 dual carbon clutch and a RPM Stage 4 or 5 Transmission. T1 Sway Bars. Put some good adjustable coilovers on it and learn how to adjust. Run the CCW Wheels with Hoosiers are another track tire you like. This will take you where no super charger can all day. Good luck. 313
