This event is always a blast with plenty of track time for all skill levels, whether it's your first time or 1000th. Pro drivers, track side food/beverages, great meals, etc...

Everett's monster Mosler was awesome to see rumble down the track last year.

My C5 is in the shop NOW, so I should be well prepared to attend/Instruct this year.

Please tell me this isn't Mother's Day weekend again?

So you can understand . . . . I don't even know what month it's in, but I can't miss it!

My anniversary is the 7th of June, so I think I'm going to be OK . . .

I thought I'd share a few of these pics for those prepping their Z06's for the upcoming Katech event. It's great to see so many Z06s on track simultaneously whether it's new drivers in the beginner's group or track veterans.

If you have never tracked your Z06 (or any car) and want to, this is a great safe event to start.

Turn 4 is faster than it looks. For the advanced drivers, 3rd gear may hold you up if you carry enough speed.

Turns 5 and 6 are 3rd gear.

You can rip through the gears here as you come off a slow turn on to the straight.

This is where the Katech Zs leave the stockers behind.

With a slow right hander leading off the straight you'll need every bit of brake pad you have.

Here's a cool shot with the Chicago Motor Speedway in the backgroud.
