Default Possible NASA meeting @ DRM on 3-26-10

There is going to be some NASA officials in town for the open house at Carriage House on Saturday. They got a hold of me and asked if we would be interested in having a quick meet and greet at our location. We are thinking Friday night about 6-7ish. I know there has been many questions for us MN guys about NASA and how to get rolling in their different programs.

This isn't set in stone yet. We are just gauging the interest!!!

I would 100% go if I was in town but I know with trucking I will probably be far away and unable to attend. I still think it would be a great thing to have since many people that run up at BIR regularly probably have questions on how to get started with NASA.

Well I have a couple people interested in coming up. I have the word out in a few outlets. But need some help

On a side note: DAMN IT I really want some more cars at BIR this year and more next, and more after that. BIR in the old days used to be packed with cars, trucks, trailers, beer and hot chicks. The cars were closely matched, the racing was tight, speeds were crazy. It's still a great place to race, the new track is technical, safer, and a better place for fans to watch

Tell all of your friends, neighbors, racers, HPDE, get these people out on the track

We are buying dinner for the meeting Even beer if that will get people here! That's pretty bold of me, because DRM has never been a place to have a beer.

I have to let them know over the weekend if we can put something together.

Randy
The Mile down in TX is going same weekend so there goes a couple people.

Randy I will try to get the word out and see if I can get any people to commit to a NASA meeting at your shop. I'm sure I can find a few that are interested in going up to BIR.

Randy -

I would be there if I was not at the TX Mile that weekend representing DRM's handy-work. I'm going to break 190 mph.

You know I am all over supporting DRM and BIR. I plan to run as much as possible up there this year.

We knew you were going to be down in the great state of TX for the weekend. Good luck if I don't talk to you before then

Well it doesn't look like we have enough people interested. I'm 99.9 percent sure I will make the trip to Carriage House for their meeting and open house!!!
