There were 4 cars in TTA last year, and don't worry we will be there so you won't have to worry about being the only TTA car. I can't believe out of the whole NASA nation only 4 cars for TTA! I think they are all scared of you Mark, you showed off too much at the UTCC!

I'm sure we'll take a bite out of the old record 2.10.xx, Greg didn't even take a lap on his sticker tires last year. I know that won't be the case this year.

Come on Greg you don't need Ken for support, Geff and I will have anything you would need. I'm coming up with a list of extras that I'll be bringing for our TTA and TTS/ST2 cars. If you are looking for someone to follow out there Rory and I are leaving Sunday from Autobahn and heading out to Utah, you are more than welcome to tag along with us. But we are driving strait through to make it there Monday night and get some practice in Tuesday. And I think we are leaving Monday morning to drive back.

You would still run. It is just that you are only running for a trophy at that point. If there were 2 I am not sure about the trophy.

Ideally I would like to just ship the car out there. It was a grueling drive back last year driving with no clutch from Omaha, Nebraska back to Michigan. Its the tires really that I need someone to bring out.

5 Regional TT events, I know TTS & TTU they need to be in those classes but TTA might be any TT

I didn't know that I thought it was any 5 TT events in any class. So you have to have 5 events in TTS to compete in TTS or is it any TTS,U,R? If you have 4 events in TTS and 4 events in TTA would you be eligible for TTA or do you need to run a 5th?

It is 5 events total. To run in A or above they have to be in A or above. Intent is to keep it safer. I think.

There is nothing keeping me from entering my Avis rental in TTR.

In order to be eligible to compete in the NASA Championships a TT competitor must score points in five regional TT events, in any region, in any TT class, on at least four (4) different event days, prior to the registration deadline for the Championships. Drivers planning on competing in the higher level classes (TTA, TTS, TTU, and TTR) must have regional experience driving in those classes, in vehicles of similar performance characteristics to the vehicle they plan to compete with at the Championships. For example, a driver that usually drives a TTD car will not be permitted to drive a TTR sports racer without showing evidence of prior experience in such a vehicle.
