I'v had my T-1 end links on since 2001, 134k now, Snow,salt, ect, and mine don't make anymore noise now then day one. Intact the only time I really notice any noise is leaving my driveway .
Just 2 cents.

I put the stock aluminums on the front and the heavy duty t1's on the back. The t1's clank all over the place. Its really just personal preference and having the ability to fine tune. The clacking isn't necessarily bad imo.
