I'm going to bump this and see if there is any interest. I just put in a new ls-6 short block, with new manley double valve springs, ARP rod bolts, new water pump, rebuilt steering rack (from turn one) reinforced the stock radiator support (it was showing signs of age). All new fluids (redline all the way around), and she is getting tuned as we speak. I have receipts for all the work.

Price is still 25k with all the extras. I also have no problem shipping the car anywhere in the US. If i get a full price offer, I'll even meet the new owner at the track and help them setup the car to their liking.

Wow, that's a great deal. I'll post this on other sites if you don't mind. Did you ever make it out to a West Coast track?

Bill,
By all means you can forward this around! I didn't make last months NASA event because of the motor work, but I'm planning on having some fun in September. I'll drive this car till someone gives me a reason not to and now that she is all ready, I just need to find a weekend that I'm free for an event!

I'll be running my ST2 car at the SoCal nasa race in October at Buttonwillow. If you want to do a track day before then, check out Speed Venture's website.

I'll hold my tongue because I have not driven one yet. But from a sheer number stand point, all I have to say is you are if you think I'll buy a car like that... when I can get a c5 for less and a c6 for a tiny bit more. Both of which i see as 2x the car the brz is.

Looks like I might be moving again so the price is now very negotiable.

This time only a few minutes away, but again with no garage (living in the city sucks sometimes). With moving every 6-9 months for the past 2 years for work I simply don't have the time or space to continue with the car. I'm going to try and make it out next month to button willow but that may be it for the year.

Ideally I'd love to sell it to someone with a track prepped c6 so I can just buy a tire trailer and still have fun without all the race car work (yea, I know I'm fibbing as all track cars require work). That and being able to drive something fun on the street again is very appealing.
