I'm looking to go dry sump next year on my C5Z. I was doing some cursory research, and it looks like parts alone will be around $5000 or so?

I have a stock LS7 pan with a baffle installed, so I will just have 2 lines, plus the large DRM oil cooler, which will be plumbed into the stock oil filter location.
Where can I get custom lines made?
Thanks for any help I can get.
Looks like a dead thread.
I ordered a tank and the other necessary parts from ARE yesterday.
As far as lines go, I will make my own once the motor is in and tank is mocked up.
I cut the battery tray bracket off the frame yesterday, that was fun.

I'm going to Lowes this weekend and try to find some aluminum to fab a bracket like the one in your picture.

I ended up buying the Aviaid** LS-D kit. I have a Part# 57530 3.0GAL tank - 7.5" diameter x 20" tall. I'm worried it won't fit. I took a good look today, removing the battery tray in my C5Z. I held the tank up next to it. How does this thing fit in there? Did I get the wrong size from them?

Default Sump tank

You will have to notch frame & weld in new section.

I've installed oem Z06, A.R.E., and Peterson tanks into C5s, and none needed any frame notching.

You also need to remove the battery tray mount and relocate the pcm and tac module. I'd call Gary and swap it for a C6Z oil tank.

I'm not sure I'm comfortable cutting up the frame like that. I noticed the computers and fuse boxes kinda in the way. Is there enough room to fit my 7.5"x20" tank in the fender area if I move those?

I can't find the tank you listed, ARE LS-D kit. I have a Part# 57530 3.0GAL tank - 7.5" diameter x 20" tall, on their website to see what it looks like. Can you post a link?

I dont think there is that is why you notch frame. That is the way DRM
Installs the tanks.

Wow, I have my head screwed on backwards. I have an Aviaid LS-D dry sump setup, not ARE. All parts are Aviaid. They don't even list the tank they sold me on their website, but here is the item on my invoice:

Here are all their tanks:

You shouldn't have a problem mounting that tank. Here is a picture of a Peterson tank about the same size in a C5. I used two of these brackets. One bolted to the wheel house near the top and another to the frame rail.
http://petersonfluidsys.com/drysumpo...-brackets.html

The 1004m pan is A.R.E.? I didn't see a pump shown, so I'm assuming not all the invoice is shown. 4 stage? Some helpful hints: do not toilet trap the hoses from the pan to scavenge inlet. run an inline 75 micron scavenge filter from scavenge out to tank in, do not undersize vent hoses. -16 from the tank to the vent can, -10 from both rocker covers to the vent can.

Thanks for the pic! Yeah, that's not the whole invoice. I have clamps like the ones you linked for mine. I guess I'm just going to have to take the fender off and start moving things around trying to fit that tank in!

When you say "wheel house," do you mean the fender well, the plastic piece that goes around the tire on the inside to protect from water and dirt?

Yes, the fiberglass piece that is glued to the frame. Taking the fender off makes it a lot easier to fit the tank. Before finalizing the tank placement, make sure the splash guard can be reinstalled and tank out hose will clear. That will require trimming the splash shield for the hose to come through. Verify the tire will not rub this hose.
