Video Editing Software
I have been videoing my track session and have a large amount of days saved up and need to edit them. I am using a GoPro camera and it produces in MP4 format. What is a good editing software to get that will process a MP4 file?

I don't think Movie Maker will accept MP4 formats.
Your Go Pro probably had a video editing program that came with it, and that should do what you want to do.

I use WMM live when editing my go pro videos. I downloaded one of the free converters online. I don't remember which one but I just googled it and found lots of info.

The version of Movie Maker that came with my Win7 PC works with my GoPro HD videos in the MP4 format

That's good to hear. My Vista version won't touch it.
I'll use my wife's PC, it has Win 7 on it.

sony vegas is what I use for my go pro videos to keep them in a proper HD format...
I tried some other programs, but they always killed the video quality... vegas keeps them looking good

I use QuickTime Pro. I used to use WMM but seemed like I had to go through too many steps and I lost video quality.
