Pads are down to about 3/16s. I'm thinking of replacing just one pad to bring up the pedal and continung to do this, then the pedal will never be super low. When low the pad is < 1/8, in goes a new a new one and so on.
Stock calipers should float to position giving even pressure, right?
Seems reasonable to me. Anyone ever considered this? Any reason not to?
(I mostly autocross with a few track days and don't burn through pads - Carbotech 10/8 on Coleman/DBA for reference, but shouldn't matter...)
