I am working on a 2000 FRC. I am trying to pull everything under the dash and interior for what will one day be my HPDE/ST2 car. I was wondering about the passenger side air bag, specifically how to disconnect it. I have already disconnected the battery and fuse as well as the drivers side air bag. I do not currently have a manual (ordered one) and was wondering about the box labled airbag sensor behind the ac/heater controls. It appears that the passenger side airbag only has one disconnect that i see right next to the bag itself? I tried searching but only found a how to for the steering wheel. Thanks.
If the battery is disconnected and the airbag fuses are pulled then just unplug it and remove it all. There's no magic. Take the bag out, the metal suppot shelf and the sensor.... all of it.
