Just tried my new Motive power bleeder for the first time. Works good. Do you guys actually torque the bleeders down when done? or just hand tighten? I only hand tightened and I have two that are giving me ever so small drops of fluid after stepping on the brake to test out. I feel like I don't want to hand tighten anymore for fear of breaking something.
Possibly debris under the bleeder? I would try to loosen and tighten back down, if that doesn't work, remove completely then put back in. If all else fails replace it; not an area I want a leak in!
I loosened and tightened them back down. wiped clean and tested again. seem ok now. I think I will pick up an appropriate torque wrench and socket at some point. I have no real idea how much torque I applied.

That's about the only fastener on a car that I don't torque. I figure the chances of stripping the threads out of an aluminum caliper are greater using a torque wrench of unknown calibration at that low setting are pretty high.
You will develop a feel for how tight to go. Trust your feel.

just a little that is why smaller wrenches are shorter.
Sometimes if I want a little more I use a 1/4 inch drive socket wrench instead of a box, but you are really not supposed to get that little guy over tight.
