I mean to clarify I was in first in TT-2 when I left the track Saturday and then 2nd when I came back Sunday.
Aside from that I was having some issues with TC/AH and then motor so I didn't really get any clean laps. I had a great time tho, the track was beautiful along with the perfect weather! I was really looking forward to pushing the car both days but it just wasn't in the cards.
You and your buddy did run some smoking fast times tho! Did Mike buy the R6's off of you?

Thanks dude.
i just meant how was the motor; heard it was smoking and i read a few posts about LS7's getting hurt on track. Hope its OK.
I didn't sell R6's to Mike (mike who? ).
I got 2 pics of you on track; PM me your email address and I'll send them over.
I'm going to look into the motor later this week. It has 50K on it so I'm just going to freshen it up. I don't think its anything serious but as soon as I know more I'll post up my findings. I'm still driving her to work as it is and everything is ok as far as street driving is concerned. Mike Oromaner, he has the red EvoX that was pitted with us. Shoot those photos to anthony@americanracingheaders.com
nope, didn't sell Mike tires. He was pitted right next to me though.
Video of my best run of the weekend (Sunday 2nd session) which was a new personal best for me:
Congrats to Ben for smoking the field with a 2:30.2. That is an insane time especially considering first event on that track
Ya he was pitted with us. I had the vette the sti and his evo with our crew. There were def some fast time being put down, I'm super bummed about not being 100% I have no idea when i'll be back there to run again.
Nice!! Very cool to see where you were able to make up that time!!
So I am sitting in the paddock back in October 2006 at down at Summit Point for a NASA race. I am driving a 10K wreck of a Nissan 240SX. In pulls Phil Grabow in his Element Tuning STI, drives it in, Hoosiers where the backseat would be as well as in the trunk, girlfriend at the time riding shotgun and he parks right next to me. I have to take him to Advance Auto Parts on Saturday to find a replacement for a radiator hose that's sprung a leak under pressure due to a run in with a tire barrier at VIR a couple weeks prior.
Phil proceeds to be the fastest of any time trial car, stock cars, Trans Am Camaro's, whatever. He was quickest in time trial that weekend. Loads up the tires and drives off in his street car. I set fast lap in class, won my two Stinger races overall and a lap record. Seeing his car in your photos brought back a lot of cool memories. Those were great times with great people and why I love going to the track after all this time!
