Alignment recommendations please
I just replaced my stock FE1 springs and F45 shocks with Z06 (FE4) springs and Koni FSD shocks. I also have C5 Z06 sway bars installed. I am debating what alignment specs to use and hope that you guys can give me some suggestions.
Here are some particulars about my vette. I have a supercharger installed that probably adds 75 lbs in front of the engine (blower + piping). I am running non run flats. The car is not tracked. I am looking for an alignment that offers good street performance with reasonable tire wear. I also want an an alignment that offers good stability at highway speed.
I can go with the Z06 specs (Front: -.7* camber & .04 toe in, Rear: -.68* camber and .01 toe out) but I am wondering if the added weight of my supercharger would create under steer. I also went to PFADT's website and looked at their "performance street" alignment specs. The main difference between the Z06 specs and PFADT's spec appears to be in the rear numbers. The rear Z06 specs are -.68* camber and -.01 toe out whereas the PFADT specs are -.5* camber and .03 toe in.
