C7 nanny controls
Posting over here, since the c7 forum is focused on the tail lights more or less.
Any info yet on being able to turn OFF nanny? I think there are multiple settings per a **** that dumb up/down the tc/ah but I would really be interested in all off mode?
When the c5 rolled out I am sure we all remember GM touting "nobody can out drive competition mode" which of course was pure crap.
C6 gave us the joys of TPMS that killed the car when you put on track wheels.
So how is this latest version going to accomodate track guys?

with out nav yes, electronic diff is standard on Z51 package
We probably won't know about active handling till some of us try it out
the C6 and C5 both can be turned off...... but reactivate under certain conditions

I thought that once you disabled TC & AH (pressing button for 5 sec's) they stayed off?

Safety Car
I'm not sure just what the criteria to turn it back on is (exactly)
but those two events have put the car in Limp home mode, and or activated Abs, active handling & reduced power.
in some (very rare ) instances the car has locked one or more wheels

One of the interviews I watched one of the engineers confirmed the nanny's could be turned off. Although I am not sure about the electronic diff. I think that is quite amazing as he said the controller could read the ABS sensors and determine whether or not to unlock the diff in a corner as a way to help the car power out of the corner. I think it was in the video interview with C&Ds Csabe whatever. All the interviews are on YouTube.
Interview with the Chassis Engineer.
Interesting comments about the use of cast aluminum in the and cast hollow control arms.

will be interesting to see how the rev-matching during downshifts works out. I like to match my own revs, thank you very much, but I guess it's a step in the right direction since they can't afford to put a sequential in.

The rev match is a great aid. We have had it on our race car for several years before we installed the EMCO. We built the electronics using the stock ecu for blip throttle in our c6 z06 race car when it was a 6 spd.

From LG's Club newsletter:
"Active handling (StabiliTrak stability control): A "competitive" setting is available in Sport and Track modes and is more suited for on-track conditions. It can also be disabled, giving the driver complete control."
