Another what sway bars thread
Doing some road racing and 1/2 mile racing and looking to do some more suspension mods. I have an 03 z06 with pfadt featherlites. Running nto5's on stock z06 rims for road racing and may drop down to c4zr1 17x11 with hoosier tires in the rear for 1/2 mile racing. Also have ccw 505a 19's with nto5's up front and 345 nto5r's in the rear for street. Car will be making north of 900 rwhp next week. Probably doesn't matter but I have polyureathane motor mounts and dte trans diff brace. I do not daily drive the car it has 28k on it.
Looking at pfadt lr and hr sways and LG sways.
Any thoughts?

The PFADT site has an EXCELLENT sway bar comparison graphic. I recommend you look over that. My opinion is that you need to try different bars on the same day on the same tires and track to "final tune" your car for your personal driving style.
"Sway Bars:
We find huge improvements on the Stop Watch... Anti-Sway Bars are the cheapest, non wear part you can install to improve lap times. we found 35mm (1.3/8' tubular) front and 24.5mm (1.00" tubular) rear are a great package. Polyurethane mid-section bushings and adjustable heim joint end links as a perfect choice."

Thanks. I already looked at the comparisons. The question is what bars would be best for mixed types of racing. As I will be road racing and 1/2 mile racing and driving car on the street.

Let me know what the car is doing when you are out there and we can take it from there. I'll take a guess though....oversteer?
I think we can tame the beast though, my personal car is up there on the RWHP as well and is possible to control it. I would bet we need to get you an adjustable sway bar up front and in the rear.

First road coarse event the the car was making 717rwhp and 672 tq and it was on rails. That was with the stock c5 zo6 sways. Now the car will be 950+rwhp. I was thinking it might be time to start looking at suspension mods. Putting in the wolfe 6 pt before this event. I will let you know. I'm really torn on the lr vs hr's.
