GT-O and DP-O are compounds. As you might guess, GT are for the GT class cars and DP are for the Daytona Prototypes.

Probably best to distinguish then:

My response was only with regard to contis.

Your response is only with regard to Hoosiers.

Supposedly contis used to be made by Hoosier and no longer are; I don't know for sure. Some liken the contis most closely to Hoosier R6, and that would be my experience as well.

The Conti's for Rolex have better overall grip than an R6 when new. Used they are about the same, maybe a bit better. The Conti's used in CTSCC are absolutely horrible

I have never received used Rolex tires, only CTSCC tires. and I agree, they suck. Bought two sets brand new when they had a screaming overstock deal and even then they were "adequate". In each case, on the 5th 30min session they fell about 1.5sec and only got worse from there.

Lol they are pretty bad. In CTSCC they try to keep a level playing field for all makes so the tires are the same from lap 5 to the cords, basically consistent garbage. They are different tires from what Rolex runs as Phil said. There are also 2 different versions of the Rolex and CTSCC tires, the newer "I" spec tires they introduced at Indy were better for us in CTSCC, can't say for the Rolex guys. If you can find the used I spec tires, they are about 1/2 to a second quicker than the standard ones with our cars. I would rather spend my $$$ on a set of Hoosiers, same life give or take and better grip.
