EBC "Yellowstuff" brake pads. Used 'em lately?
The reviews I found were years old. Looks like a decent pad for some street and light track use. Have any experience with them?

I use the EBC Yellows for when I'm daily driving - great upgrade from OEM and would do very well for HPDE 1 and 2, but I don't think they would take the abuse very well on the road courses for more advanced drivers; depending on how aggressive your braking is around the track and other factors.

I used them for one track day back in 2010 at Pocono running double infield. I got about 20 laps on them with bad fade and at the end of that session I had about a quarter of a pad left. Use them for the street but FORGET about taking them to the track.

Yes...I am a licensed race driver and instructor. Back then I had stock C5 Z06 brakes on the car. I upgraded to a StopTech BBK in the front that season and then realized the rear brakes are as woefully inadequate. I added the rear StopTechs the following season and between those and my Carbotech pads, I don't have any issue with brakes anymore.

oooh thank you for your input. You have been the only negative reviewer so far. You're much better of a driver than I so hopefully they will be ok for me, for now. I was going to do the Carbotech XP12/10 but these were on Amazon with quick shipping so I could get them here and installed before my next track day on the 30th.
I have SS caliper pistons and lines with a Quantom brake duct kit so hopefully that will help a bit. I appreciate this and any other input you can provide!
I'm planning on the AP T1 sprint kit for my brakes when I can afford it. Keeping the stock wheels seems like a plus.
