2014 V8 StockCar schedule and new format
For those that may have missed the announcement on the V8 StockCar board regarding the 2014 schedule and new points format.
For the 2014 season the V8 StockCar Series will move to a new format and schedule based around the Southeast Division SARRC schedule and points rules. Please note the proposed new SARRC points award system that could be approved at the January SE Div meeting.

V8 StockCar will again have four classes with the following changes:
V8 GT-1: Will follow SCCA GT-1 rules exclusively
V8 GT-2: Will follow SCCA GT-2 rules exclusively
V8 GTA: Will follow SCCA GTA rules exclusively
V8 SPO: will follow SE Div. SCCA rules exclusively (will not be limited to just stock cars)
The American Road Race of Champions will be our premier event where triple points will be available. Championships will be decided by top point earners in SARRC Series, plus those points garnered at the ARRC. In other words the SARRC champs will be the point leaders going into the ARRC.

Bosco,
I'm looking to get some more info to try to decide what schools/events I am going to be able to make this year but can't find any other registration info other than the schedule you posted. When I go to the sedivracing site and click on "Upcoming Event Registration" it takes me to the http://www.motorsportreg.com/ site but I don't actually see any of these events on there... am I missing something??
