EFILive couldn't find the PID either. I think we're SOL with using generic/aftermarket scanners.

What bugs me is how much great data I can get with a cheapo ELM327 or OBD2 reader bluetoothed to my phone yet AIM can't read our C5 OBD's.

This is with a cheapo ELM327 and Torque on a C6.

I can't get a useable throttle position. I found one, ThrottlePositionE I think, that is 8% at minimum but I don't think it goes anywhere near 100% (altho I haven't checked that close). The default RaceRender throttle position does nothing with my setup (again, C6).

I found Oil Pressure too but it is a little flakey (accurate, but jitters around 2-3 PSI while dash gauge and DIC are steady). Also Transmission Temp but no way to verify if it is accurate (seems to be generally correct, warms up, like that).

Racepak says the same thing, that their OBDII reader won't work with C5's. It is quite frustrating. I've spliced into the car's wiring to get some of the things I wanted but there are still other parameters that I would like, even if the refresh rate was really slow.

That's probably the correct throttle position parameter. GM doesn't use a idle air bypass they use the throttle body to regulate idle, which is why you see 8% instead of zero. You're probably only seeing 87-89% open at full throttle, too... That's actually the percent open that gives you max flow through the throttle body.

Mark, how did you get the Oil Pressure to log?

Also anyone figure out how to get the Oil Temp to log?

I can get the Trans Temp, Coolant, RPM, etc. to log just fine. BTW this is for a '02 Z06 using Torque App.
