Man I'm diggin this idea and the results you guys have gotten look great. I've drilled my car before (for spoiler, splitter, etc) but cutting the hood kinda freaks me out a bit... I guess I'd have my body shop do this. Scares me to consider it myself.

I just finished my vette install and will post pics later. I didn't use rivets.

I also installed these on my 66 Nova hood. I made pockets so they sit flush and then screws for mounting. Should be the only one of its kind!
