best heat resistant wire separators in this style...
Well I bought these from summit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/spe-4631 and their design is very clean and simple. However after 3 minutes at idle the 2 wire separator melted from my header primary. That was with the hood up and idle, so much for when I get on the track.....
Anyone know of any with the same design like the bolt in sets of 2,3,4? I would rather not spend $50 on them since I need 2 sets because I need 4 sets of the "2" separators. Here is a pic of how I have them set up.

At 5.99 a set I would think you could buy a few sets.
Or contact Spectre and see if they will sell you a "custom " set

Look for Taylor cable looms on the Summit site. Used these when we placed a period correct big block in the 67 Camaro. Haven't noticed any problems from header heat.

I was looking at the Taylor ones and they are a bit expensive bit I will go with those if I don't find an alternative. I would have to buy two sets.
However I did see aluminum separators.... Wouldn't that defeat the reason for separators? I would think they would encourage cross firing. Or would the insulation on the charged wire along with the insulation on the potential crossfire wire would be plenty to make them a good alternative. They definitely wouldn't melt... But they might hold heat and end up melting the wire? Like these?http://m.summitracing.com/parts/dui-9002?seid=srese1&gclid=CMua-ITy2MMCFcnm7AodZloACA

Burning Brakes
MadeforU if they are still in business is what your looking for. They double as valve cover bolts, come in lay down or vertical mount center bolt as well. Black, red, blue, yellow, purple, green colors just to name a few.

Need to retract my above post. I used the "Madeforyou" parts as mentioned in the Post above. Pic on their web site looks similar to the way the wires are run on the Camaro.
