August Tudor Race at VIR; Corvette Corral?
Hoping to have my C7 in time to join the folks at VIR in August. Anyone have any info on the Corvette Corral?

It's available and you can by Corral tickets now on the VIR website. Based upon past events, it should include parking in the area, talks from the team, some food and some giveaways. Let me know if you have specific questions. Already bought my tickets!

Added: Right you are. Found the site. Waiting to hear from my dealer that my order has been accepted as I wouldn't expect to be able to park anything other than a Corvette in the Corvette corral.

Congratulations on the incoming car.
PS. Did you order from the almost-local-to-you forum dealer?
I'm here now getting my Corvette serviced. I can check-in for you, if so.

Surprisingly, received this today from VIR:
-------------------------------------------------------
The decision has been made to decrease the cost of the Corvette Corral packages. As a result, all customers are receiving refunds for the difference ranging from $20-$60, depending on the type of package purchased. Corral items will be shipped the week of June 8. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact the VIR ticket office at 434-822-7700 ext. 117 or tickets@virnow.com. See you in August!

Pretty simple. Buy a ticket for the Corral and you get parking right up close to a large tent where you can socialize with other Corvette owners and watch the race either from the tent or on a big screen. I have only been in the BMW Corral for past races and they have food and drinks, not sure about the Corvette Corral. Go to the VIR website and you can see the ticket prices. You can buy for 1, 2 or 3 days, just the driver or the driver plus one passenger. I'm planning on attending IF I get my Corvette in time. Keeping my fingers crossed. I attended last year in the BMW corral and it was a great weekend. You can walk down right into the paddock area and see the cars close up. Lots of vendors as well.

Does anyone know when or if there will be parade laps for the Corvettes at the race at VIR?
Has a schedule of events for the Corvette Corral been made available?
