Has anyone but me noticed that the WWF has taken over Formula 1?

Sorry, I thought the Mercedes team treatment of Hamilton today kinda reeked of some kind of "fixed" result?

Conspiracy theories are easy to find if that's what you're looking for.

Or Hamilton's own words (from Autosport.com):
Hamilton said he initially thought the cars behind him had pitted,
so he assumed he was called in to cover off the fact his pursuers
would be on fresher tires when the race resumed after the safety car.

"I saw a screen and it looked like the team was out [in the pits]," he added.
"It looked like Nico had pitted. I thought the guys behind were pitting,
so when the team said stay out, I said the tires were dropping temperature,
and I was assuming that these guys would be on options and I would
be on the harder tyre, so they said to pit. I did that and came in
thinking with full confidence the others had done the same."
Charlie Whiting would have had to be in on it, too. Unlikely, me thinks.

If you watch the video of Hamilton leaving the pits (where you can see him crossing the blend line as well as Nico and Vettel crossing the blend line out on the track) you can see that Hamilton missed it by just a couple of seconds.

Besides, why would Merc want their new $150 million dollar boy to lose the biggest race of the season. What would be the upside?

One of my favorite sayings:

"Never attribute to malice what can easily be explained by stupidity."
