Default C5 Z06 Cant get rear lower ball joint to pop loose

I'm trying to undo the rear lower ball joint so that I can replace the wheel bearing.

I have the ball joint stud nut loose about 1/8" The wheel is off and I have a floor jack under the rotor so that the leaf spring is pulling down trying to separate the joint. I tried hitting the side of the upright where the taper fits as well as soaking the top of the stud with PB Blaster.

Any other ideas or tricks?

Watch my video, I might have put a tip or technique in there. Below.

Found your video. Harbor freight just opened store 1 mile away. I'm off to get the tool.

Thanks Froggy!

I have used that too, but you have to be careful or you shred the rubber cover, the tool helps save the rubber if you are not replacing the ball joint.
