Lets beat the dead horse (tire question) again... This time, what about autox A7's??? Anyone used them yet?

I've been autox-ing a couple of years. I'm on Nitto NT-05 now. (2001 Z06 stock wheels, & shocks, lowered, Hotchkis sways). I want to get a set of wheels & tires for autox.

Thinking about getting a set of 17x9.5 all the way around with 295's or 315's. Is this the best way to go? Asking advise from those with experience. Thanks.

for autox, if your rules allow it , get 4 Z06 rears and run 315's on them

Just so you know, you will wear out a7's (same as a6's) pretty fast unless you have a proper alignment for the tire. There are lot's of threads on that.

I have seen them corded during one practice (lot of runs, bad driving, wrong alignment).

THAT was an expensive practice for my buddy.

I run 315's on C5Z rears, they have the same shoulder profile as a A6.
