Tow Hooks
I have started doing auto cross events and the place I go to has very soft dirt on either side of the course. I have not had the unfortunate trip into the dirt, but if I do I would like to have tow hooks on the front and rear.
I know that the rear is an easy install, but I am not sure of how the front is attached. i have search Google and You Tube but found nothing. My real question is, does the front bumper need to be removed to install the front hook? If so is teh bumper cover a difficult job? Can it be accomplished in my garage with normal tools or is it better to have a shop do it/
Thanks.

I installed the Phoenix front tow hook and you do need take off the front bumper. Luckily the front bumper is easy to take off and no special tools are required. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to take off the bumper and about the same to put it back on.

Used the Phoenix hooks front and rear on my 2003 Z car, great product. Unfortunately the fascias neec to come off to do a proper install. Not real hard with a lift, a PITA on jackstands. If no lift and your budget can stand it have someone else do the install.

If your in Palm Harbor FL, I'm assuming you're talking about Hernando County Airport (HCA)in Brooksville. I've been there dozens of times and had a pretty serious off and ended up in the dirt. I've also seen others have a serious off's, but we've never had to tow a car out. If your buying tow hooks simply for this site, then I'd forego them. If you plan on tracking the car a lot, then they are a good idea.
Also, be very careful about getting pack on the concrete at HCA, there are some sections that have a big "lip" as you transition from dirt to runaway. I saw a guy have a 2-wheel and try to get back on at speed, it bent his subframe.
