Default Frame mounted front splitter base C6

Some pictures of my aero I just got done.
Had it out at sebring let weekend. Notice a big difference but was battling high engine temps so didn't push it to hard. Once I get those bugs worked out I'll post some hot lap videos

I'll go out on a limb and say "most certainly." C6's are bottom breathers, so you gotta get some air in there some how. Did you route the bumper opening to the radiator in some fashion, and it wasn't enough? Looks like a big opening to me, figured that would have been plenty of air.

Nice job on the splitter. That sucker looks solid.

wow that think is thick and slick. what material did you use and what did you use to fill the gap between it and the bumper?

I too would guess after the install as now its a front breather only, but that can be fixed.

So you also did a rear wide body as well huh

Thanks, the front bullet is open to the radiator from factory. Should be no different then a stock C6Z

Thanks, I think the splitter it's self is SS steal and black aluminum was used to fill the gap

It's hard to say, I was having heating issues before I installed it. I think I will need to have a vented hood for it to cool properly with the undertray extended back to the engine cradle. Right now I made spacers for the hood latch

Thanks, should be no different then a stock C6Z. The bumper is item to the radiator from factory. I'm going to relocate the oil cooler so the radiator can get better air flow
