Closing speed on the Z is impressive. Your lack of corner exit speed didnt help, you hoon. LOL.

What in the gs make it more track ready than z51?

IMO if they really wanted a track model they would get rid of all the heavy junk and have a delete option for the 10 speaker bose, navigation, on star and all that cr@p. Chevy needs to do to the vette what ford is doing for the mustang and compete with them at the clubsport level.

That's basically correct, although the MRC are set specifically for the Grand Sport.

I don't think that removing the speakers and the AC would save a ton of weight. This car would need a 400lbs diet and then it would be KILLER!
