Not surprising that the C2 coupe would have high front end lift, the car's silhoutte is the same profile as a wing. At 130mph lift was enough to affect steering considerably.

I remember when I was a kid, seeing the c3 Corvette and thinking how aerodynamic it was. Aerodynamic as an elephant I guess.

So how did they measure lift? Are there scales under each wheel to measure the weight of the car at speed?
