What does it take to get reliability from a 2007, besides the valve guides ?

I'm not looking to go b@lls out. Maybe an 8/10's track cruiser. Just a DD & weekend track car.
How does the sump hold up ?

My 06Z has 120k, original motor everything including heads. And it has been tracked heavily. Only underhood change was the sump was enlarged to 10qt as part of routine validation testing.
