Default drilling/boring swaybar bushings

has anybody opened up the stock front 1" (from memory) bushings to 38 mm? how did you do it? freezer? how did you hold them?

I just called van steel and had some sent to me. I guess you could freeze them and put them in a drill press.

yes, its a $16 item from chevy performance (good to know vansteel has them too), but summit did not include them with the bar, they said they would and lists them as "kit". they dont want to ship them free, so im looking at over $100 for the bushings now.
