Optima Ultimate Street Corvettes

Optima Ultimate Street Corvettes
I went to SEMA and the first day of the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational. Here are some photos of most of the Corvettes that were competing. Vegas has a great race track and good views of Red Rock and the Strip in the distance.

All the competitors put the windshield and door stickers on. That's the sponsors for the race series and they make it possible because the entrant fees wouldn't cover all the costs to host an event like this.
All the little stickers are individual sponsors. If you are willing to give me a big brake kit or an engine. I'll be happy to put your stickers on.
I took my Vette to the LS Fest. We all had to have matching windshield stickers for media coverage. The sticker came off easy when I got home but did look cool when I saw my car in an online blog

These are all street legal cars with full interiors and working lights, windows, horns, etc. Most have custom interiors. They all do a road rally where they drive them around the city. This racing series is about SEMA quality cars that race, not a bunch of stripped out cars that are only for the track.

Actually, if you take out the car show portion “D&E” which is purely subjective, and just look at the 3 performance events, a Viper should have won. Popp and Wilhoff Corvettes would have been top 5.

With the D&E, all but Wilhoff (vette) are still in the top five, just different order. So you pretty much have the same competitive cars/drivers either way.

Hey noobie, making friends already, huh? I asked a question, and so far I haven't seen you add much value to this thread.
Fleming, however, is adding value, by pointing out where all the high cost maintenance expenses come from.
