Default C6 ZO6 Axles - too much play? replace with?

While upgrading and refreshing my 2007 C6 ZO6 suspension, primarily used for track days, I find the rear axle inner rear yoke bearings do not fit tight/snug. I am presuming they should. Any knowledge on this, videos of normal wear perhaps?

I am considering just replacing them with some rebuilt lifetime warranty axles, so I can swap them every couple of years or so if/as needed. One C6 ZO6 driver suggest the C5 ZO6 axles are lighter & stronger, and perhaps cheaper. Any thoughts? Anyone done this?

Thanks for your thoughts...... the track season is approaching in the Northeast!

I purchased some low mileage used axles, so am no longer looking for comments to this.
