TPMS sensors fit ccw rims?
Some look like the pull thru rubber valve stems and others look like the metal with a nut (rubber sealing grommets or something).
So do either fit in any wheel?
I have ccw that have a metal stem (no sensors) and I have oem c5z rims that have always had rubber stems (no sensors).
So can I pick/buy either style for the ccw (or for any rim)?

The stock sensors fit in the wheel. Based on several years of TPMS issues I wouldn't run with anything but stock sensors. I get mine from The House of Wheels in Florida. They usually have a good price on them. The Dorman sensors that I got at Advance Auto were crap. They failed within a month and then Advance Auto wouldn't pay to have the tire broken down to replace the sensor. You also only get one replacement under warranty. Mine failed multiple times within the first three months.

I have never seen a rubber stemmed sensor on a Corvette. I think this is the one you need for your C6. C6s used two different sensors: ACDelco 20925925 GM Original Equipment Black Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Sensor. Early cars 2005-2008 used a different sensor than this one which should be for the 2009-2013 cars.
Unlike other sensors these ones come with metal caps. The caps are not cheap to replace so don't let the tire shops lose them or replace them with plastic.
