Tony Ave put his AVE Motorsports Corvette on the pole for today's Trans Am finale at Daytona. Tony turns 50 years old today, but obviously hasn't slowed down. Ave's 1:43.515 edged out 2017 TA Champ Ernie Francis Jr in his Mustang. The first four TA cars are within about 1/10 sec. Gonna be a barn burner of a race.
