Not many choices is if staying 17/18, but if I still had my c5z, I’d go with hankook rs4, 255/40/17, 285/35/18.
Second choice would be back to the nitto nt05, 275/40/17, 295/35/18.

Good luck finding 295/35 18's. Seems that the best tires are out of supply nationwide. Ive been considering running the mickey thompson tire that I can get thru Summit. Not much info on the tire but its available. Ive been able to find the 275/40 17 for the front, but cant find a 295/35 18 anywhere. Ive got r888rs in the 315/30 18 rears and 295/30/18 fronts for the track.

I like Contis, but I get them dirt cheap through an auto supplier discount program. If I were buying them full priced, I don't know if they'd be my top choice.
Great for a summer performance tire, great in wet, but not necessarily what I think of as a track performance option.
