C5Z - 1:24.5 Lap from Thunderbolt with data
Hey Folks,
Wanted to share this here in case anyone is interested for future reference. This is my best lap from NASA Time Trials last Sunday at NJMP Thunderbolt. This was last session of the day. Car was around 3090lbs and last dyno'd at NJMP in May at 360whp. Tires are 315/335 A7s with 7 heat cycles. One of my buddies told me that that many heat cycles is as much as 1.5 seconds on his full ***** SCCA T1 C5Z, and that's fun to imagine but I have a hard time believing it. There's a lot I can improve by looking at this video with the data overlay. I also did another overlay with way more detail but not so sure I want to give EVERYTHING away to my competitors (I'm looking at you Doug). Check out the screen shot of that below. Pretty sweet to have the brake trace, throttle, and GSUM all overlaid right on the video.
