Default LG Motorsports New Ownership!

LG Motorsports is officially under new ownership!

Sergio De La Torre has been with LG Motorsports for more than 10 years building and designing the products that make their way to the front of the pack. Sergio has proven to be an experienced fabricator, engine builder, tuner, driver, shop manager, as well as the lead of research and development for many years, and many more to come. From simple maintenance, to strategic advancements, Sergio has made it his goal to exceed satisfaction consistently pushing the standard in performance.

LG was founded and operated by Lou Gigliotti until recently purchased by long time employee Sergio De La Torre. We’re grateful for Lou’s 30 years of dedication and commitment to the racing community and excited to continue the LG Motorsports legacy.

Lou previously mentioned he sold the business and I've been wondering who bought it. Glad to see ownership went to someone that's been involved with LG for a while.

This is the reason. It will be a 3.6+ Mile road course, member track just north of Dallas. In a defunct town of Westminster Tx. Google it and you will see the 183 acres where the track will be.
The perimeter track will be roughly 2.8 Miles and have a straight that is over 2100 ft long. It will focus on Members with some track days like Chin or Other track day companies.
The days of a Plastic Shower curtain are over. This will be a first class facility.
Garages and Condo Garages will be coming.

LG Motorsports is in good hands with Sergio and all my long time employees. Sergio has been with me for a decade. I am right next door in my second building. AND LG Motorsports will be in one of the buildings on site.

Thanks for the memories and I will be on the forum from time to time. We have already started to remove some trees and get ready for the construction to begin.
I am putting my World Challenge C6 back together under the SCCA GT2 rules and I am entered in the SCCA Runoffs at VIR this October. See you at the races!!!

Great news! Lou. When do you expect the first to start driving the track? late 2020? 2021?

Will SCCA ever race there? Or is the paddock area big enough for a runoffs?

Lou and Sergio - wishing both of you much success in your endeavors. It is good to know that our hobby is in the hands of those with the passion that you both exhibit.

The east track looks alot like our home track here in Omaha.......just rotate the track pic ....add a chicane and its spot on (minus the drive through)......I.hope I get a chance to come down and run there someday.....

BTW....thanks for the hook up on SKF hubs....no one else could get them shipped out TODAY!!!!
